Punk Rock: To some it’s just music; aggressive guitars, anti-authority lyrics and fast beats.  To some it’s a style; ripped clothes, combat boots, piercings, tattoos and the occasional mohawk.  Some despise this genre, while others guard it like armed gate keepers.  To some it’s a fad and trends fade and die.  To us, Punk Rock is a home.  It is a safe haven for the outcast, the bullied, the forgotten.  It is an identity for those who feel lost, for those who feel broken and those who feel alone.  While the world rages between perceived right & wrong, black & white, light & dark; punks don’t see the world in dichotomies, but in degrees, scales of grey. Not everything is black and white!  Punks are caught in the middle and call it out. Punks live in the twilight.    Punk Rock is more than a style, it's a way of life.  It is more than an attitude; it's the spirit of fairness, standing up for what you believe and the willingness to fight for what’s right.  It’s the knowledge that everyone has a voice and the least among us are powerful.  Punk Rock has never been a fad or a trend; it is a movement; it is an awakening.  It is a voice of progress.  Movements change names, they evolve and persevere; but they don’t die.  Like it or not, Punk Rock isn’t dead!    This isn’t just a genre; Punk Rock is a community, and we call it RIVALRY.  You are no longer an outcast; you are not forgotten, and you are not alone!  You have a voice; you have value, and you matter.  When the world throws you away, we are with you, and you are with us; together we are Rivalry!
